Indonesian Sushi – Lemper

Indonesian Sushi - lemperBAHAN  :  ( INGREDIENTS  : )
1       kg   ketan  ( glutinous rice grains )
300 cc   santan kental   ( thick coconut milk )
3       pcs daun jeruk purut  ( kaffir lime leaves )
1       tsp  garam  ( salt )
daun pisang untuk membungkus potong 20×10 cm ( cut banana leaves 20 x 10 cm for wrapping sushi )
toothpicks
BAHAN UNTUK ISI : ( FILLING  INGREDIENTS : )
400 gr    dada ayam rebus, suwir-suwir ( boiled chicken breast, shredded )
3       pcs daun jeruk  purut ( kaffir lime leaves )
1       cup santan  ( coconut milk )
1       tsp  bawang putih tumbuk ( crushed garlic )
1       pc serai bagian putihnya ( white part lemon grass )
2      tsp ketumbar haluskan  ( coriander powder )
1/2 tsp bubuk jintan  ( cummin powder )
1      tbsp minyak  (oil )
1/2 tsp  gula ( sugar )
garam secukupnya ( salt to taste )

CARA MEMBUAT  :  (  METHOD :  )
1.   Rendam ketan 2 jam, tiriskan dan kukus setengah matang ( soak glutinous rice for 2 hours, drain, steam  half cooked )
2.   Didikan santan, garam, daun jeruk ( Boil the thick coconut milk, add salt, kaffir lime leaves  )
3.   Masukkan  ketan yang telah dikukus tadi kedalam santan yang telah dididihkan ,aduk rata ( Add gloutinous  into the coconut milk and stirr up )
4 . Kukus kembali ketan sampai matang ( Steam mix glutinous until  cooked )
ISI  : ( FILLING : )
1.   Panaskan minyak , masukan bawang putih  aduk rata dan masukan  bahan lainnya , masak sampai santan habis  (  Heat oil, add garlic stirr well until  fragrant,  add  another ingredients, stirr well until  coconut milk absorbed all, put aside )

PENYELESAIAN : ( FINISHING : )
1.    Ambil 1 lembar daun,  taruh  2 sdm ketan  ditengah  dan diatasnya letakan isi, bentuk, bungkus dengan daun pisang semat  kedua ujungnya  dengan tusuk gigi, bakar kira-kira 15 menit. ( Take a piece of banana leaf and place 2 tbsp of glutinous rice in the middle, spread into thin layer.Place 1 tbsp filling in the centre and cover it with rice.Shape ,roll banana leaf over sushi and fasten both ends with toothpicks. Grill for 15 minutes. )
