Empal Gepuk / Indonesian Fried Beef

Bahan :  ( Ingredients : )
750      gr     daging  paha  (  thigh beef  )
500      ml     santan ( coconut milk  )
2            pcs    daun salam  ( bay leaves )
1            stick  serai  ( lemon grass stem )
2            cm  lengkuas , memarkan  ( galangal , bruised )
water
vegetable oil

Haluskan : (  blend :  )
8        bawang  merah   ( shallots )
4        cloves   bawang  putih ( garlic )
1        tbsp  ketumbar sangrai ( corriander seed, dry fried )
1        tbsp  gula merah  ( palm sugar )
2        tsp   garam ( salt )
2        cm   jahe   ( ginger  )
5        kemiri ( candle nuts )

Cara membuat   : ( How to cook : )
1.     Rebus daging sapi beserta daun salam, serai, lengkuas dan bumbu halus setengah matang , dagingnya diangkat dan  dipotong  2 cm x 6 cm x 8cm

2.    Daging dipukul-pukul hingga melebar dan dimasak kembali bersama santan, masak sampai daging matang dan santan meresap , angkat daging, titiskan dan dinginkan.

3.    Goreng daging dalam  minyak panas hingga kecoklatan, angkat , tiriskan.
